Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaston Montrel started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ballester FC's Andres Jusepe got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Nunez Madeo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Primitivo Obeko skillfully saved the ball. If Gaston Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jairo Mendebal came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrian Txatxu could save by the left post. In the 10th minute, Ramiro Semeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Obeko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Librado to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes, Andres Jusepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballester FC and the Mazarredo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres Jusepe hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Adrian Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Blasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Ballester FC's Isaac Blasco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ballester FC's Andres Jusepe got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Andres Jusepe off the ground. In the 25th match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Mazarredo FC's Nunez Madeo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Primitivo Obeko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mazarredo FC reached it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Ballester FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mazarredo FC:s goal. Ramiro Semeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Humberto Hernando struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Primitivo Obeko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazarredo FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Montrel during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primitivo Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Semeno in the 42nd minute of the match. If Jairo Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Adrian Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Mendebal in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Jairo Mendebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Txatxu. Mazarredo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Mendebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Primitivo Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With his leg Primitivo Obeko managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Mazarredo FC's Ramiro Semeno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Obeko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Semeno. Humberto Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Primitivo Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Hernando in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Obeko saved Ballester FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Sixto Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hernando in the 79th minute of play forced Ballester FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jairo Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Mendebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Isaac Blasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballester FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazarredo FC the free kick. Mazarredo FC's Ubaldo Elixio was substituted for Nunez Madeo. In the 91st match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Blasco to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ballester FC's Primitivo Obeko got control of the ball when Humberto Hernando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Primitivo Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Obeko having to interfere. Mazarredo FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
