Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5344, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) CEGOLIAMO's José Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aykutalp Rasih made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Jesus Paskal sent off a good shot on target. If José Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Tonio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Montrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Haroldo Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykutalp Rasih having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Tonio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Montrell saved MELIME from getting behind. When CEGOLIAMO's Haroldo Tonio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MELIME's goalie prevented a goal. If Haroldo Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Montrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Baptista's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Baptista in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Montrell saved MELIME from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Haroldo Tonio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of MELIME's Paulino Montrell. Paulino Montrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haroldo Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Felo to make the kick off. CEGOLIAMO's Silvio Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Montrell came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CEGOLIAMO's José Baptista. But to his dismay, José Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 56th minute, Haroldo Tonio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aykutalp Rasih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Baptista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Paulino Montrell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulino Montrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Baptista in the 62nd minute. Paulino Montrell was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Silvio Etxatxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvio Etxatxu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, José Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. CEGOLIAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but José Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Haroldo Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Montrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, MELIME's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Tonio came free, but Paulino Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Haroldo Tonio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Montrell. Haroldo Tonio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 90th minute, Pascual Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CEGOLIAMO booed when MELIME was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind MELIME's goalkeeper Paulino Montrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CEGOLIAMO played a much better game than MELIME and deserved their victory. The MELIME players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
