Feliciano Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Paskal in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Arturo Felo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MELIME and the Aldosiwi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MELIME's Arturo Felo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gonzalo Beltxes short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Paulino Montrell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Simon Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Simon Oto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gonzalo Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Montrell having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Aldosiwi got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Obano. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
