In the 18th minute, Clodoveo Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, ATLANTA V.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Danel came free, but Tobias Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ignacio Danel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tobias Furman to make any attempt to save it. Guillermo Piorno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Guillermo Piorno notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ATLANTA V.C.'s Tobias Furman. Tobias Furman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

After having played for 65 minutes, Ulises Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripamonti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Quin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ATLANTA V.C. defense, Ignacio Danel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Furman. The ATLANTA V.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Furman should have stopped the shot. Tobias Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Piorno in the 71st minute of play. Ripamonti's Martin Eder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ripamonti from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Ripamonti's Ignacio Danel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Ignacio Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ripamonti booed when ATLANTA V.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ignacio Danel made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Furman. ATLANTA V.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ripamonti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
