After 13 minutes, Ruperto Dabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrocarril Sarmiento and the Arroyito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferrocarril Sarmiento's Ruperto Dabi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Mauro Elorri walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 18 played minutes Arroyito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Cerilo. Miguel Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Batıkan Bozdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ferrocarril Sarmiento getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miguel Tono hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Augusto Mazuste sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batıkan Bozdağ skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Elorri to strike the kick off in the second half. Batıkan Bozdağ made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Nicanor Monte sent off a good shot on target. Batıkan Bozdağ was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Gogo Miro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gogo Miro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. With 63 minutes on the clock, Angel Beturian commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arroyito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Miguel Tono struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nicanor Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Batıkan Bozdağ made a huge save. Miguel Tono's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Ferrocarril Sarmiento's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
