Alejo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Rolado having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Akademie's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Egoitz came free, but Rigoberto Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Egoitz in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Teofilio during the 34th minute. Julio Romano scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Tavio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Julio Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tegua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Feliciano Egoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Egoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Akademie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Julio Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 95 in the game by Feliciano Egoitz from a close distance when the talented Rigoberto Tavio managed to make a qualified save. Akademie's players were relieved. When the match was over Tegua FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Akademie throughout the match.
