BARILOCHE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Ur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Genaro Emesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Uzuri made a kick off. Arturo Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pastor Berbiz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of C.A. BARILOCHE booed when Martínez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When C.A. After 87 minutes, Ladislao Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martínez and the C.A. BARILOCHE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martínez's Donato Neron was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Emesto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
