When Pacto entre caballeros's Remigio Maju in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Velez Sarsfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Macias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Samuel Macias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Astor Tomi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pepe Lopez de Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Astor Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Maju in the 32nd minute of play. After 35 played minutes, Pacto entre caballeros's Evelio Mazuste shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Astor Tomi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pacto entre caballeros reached it. Jimeno Beremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Velez Sarsfield's Damaso Olo in the 41st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pepe Lopez de Toro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pacto entre caballeros through an amazing save. Remigio Maju took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Tomi. Astor Tomi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Astor Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pacto entre caballeros were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Velez Sarsfield's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evelio Mazuste took the corner. With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Astor Tomi got control of the ball when Remigio Maju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Macias struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Astor Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacto entre caballeros. Esteban Pueblo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Pacto entre caballeros's Remigio Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Tomi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 71st minute Samuel Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pacto entre caballeros's zone, Damaso Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Lopez de Toro came out of the goal and Damaso Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Gustavo Ticho collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 85 minutes, Jimeno Beremundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez Sarsfield and the Pacto entre caballeros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Jimeno Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Samuel Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Velez Sarsfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pacto entre caballeros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
