Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5327, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiburcio Vistruario took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Eduardo Isauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Battle Royale getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Herminio Henry hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Battle Royale's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Olo came free, but Ivan Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Eudoxio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ivan Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Olo in the 27th minute of play. Ivan Geofredo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gervasio Hitzeder sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Geofredo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Velez Sarsfield's Gervasio Hitzeder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Gervasio Hitzeder came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Hitzeder couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Olo was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Geofredo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Hitzeder in the 55th minute of play forced Battle Royale's goalkeeper Ivan Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Damaso Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Geofredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Vistruario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Astor Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Olo in the 68th minute of play forced Battle Royale's goalkeeper Ivan Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Henry hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Battle Royale's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Olo came free, but Ivan Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Vistruario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Astor Tomi. Tiburcio Vistruario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Velez Sarsfield's Gervasio Hitzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
