They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Ponciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Maximino Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres de Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Lopez in the 55th minute of play forced Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Michalow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Ponciano let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 56th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. When Herminio Eguntsenti came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cochrane FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Eguntsenti couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Cba's zone, Tadeo Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Inautzi came out of the goal and Tadeo Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Maximino Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres de Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Maximino Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Michalow was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Maximino Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Lopez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jimmy Michalow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres de Cba. In the 84th minute, Urbano Precioso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochrane FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Federico Brini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochrane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Brini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Inautzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Inautzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Ponciano went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Cochrane FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
