Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Urbano Tavio made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Larsen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Oroitz. Carahuasi AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Ángel Madsen scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Garoa, making the score, 0-4. Saul Bernaldo lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Carahuasi AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Larsen AFC:s goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carahuasi AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Garoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Tavio in the 91st minute of play forced Carahuasi AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larsen AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
