Spectators: 7019 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eusebio Ourente got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Gaona's Godfredo Arias got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 10 played minutes Loreto got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Sengrat. If Angel Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Rosendo Matia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Loreto's goalkeeper Gaston Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Papo. The supporters of Gaona booed when Loreto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Eusebio Ourente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loreto and the Gaona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Loreto's Eusebio Ourente got a free kick in the 28th minute. Marcos Papos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Gaston Felipo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Eusebio Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaston Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Papo in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Angel Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gaona! When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Loreto's Primitivo Laurin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yuriy Hasainov. Marcos Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Gaona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Isauro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Loreto booed when Gaona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loreto's Gaston Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Eliu in the 67th minute of play. Ismael Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gaston Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Gaona's Ismael Vela in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loreto's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Marcos Papo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Felipo. Loreto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Papo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Felipo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaston Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Felipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Arias went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Celedonio Ubendu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Vela in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Marcos Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Godfredo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Loreto getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Baldomero Frasco hit a great ball. In the 99th minute, Ismael Vela made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Felipo. Loreto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There was no doubt that Gaona were the better team. Gaona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
