After a defensive mix-up in MaSterMind ♣'s zone, Fabricio Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Faro came out of the goal and Fabricio Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Pereyra in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Polentzi got free with Candido Faro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Siro Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Fabricio Polentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Faro was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Candido Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
