Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonio Dantae made the kick off which started today's match. Concordia's Mariano Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Tirso in the 17th minute of play. Mariano Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Formerio in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Martin Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Dantae in the 28th minute of play forced Concordia's goalkeeper Mariano Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Concordia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Martin Paul hit a great ball. Segundo Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mariano Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Antonio Dantae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Abarca. Concordia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Dantae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Bakar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Suciedad F.C's zone, Martin Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Ofelio came out of the goal and Martin Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Martin Paul came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Concordia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Paul couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Concordia's goalkeeper Mariano Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Estebano. After 56 played minutes Concordia got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Cordareo. Real Suciedad F.C's Enrique Rumaldo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mariano Abarca but with some difficulty. Segundo Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Concordia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antonio Dantae fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the game, Patricio Nuñez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Concordia's Marco Quilo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
