The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 37th minute, Bernabe Abancens sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mazaredo FC's Nestor Garaona didn't even have to move. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Olivar couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Checa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 81st minute, Cipriano Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Algarrobitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 87 minutes into the match, Algarrobitos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Pacifico came free, but Norberto Cresconio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Checa scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Garaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo FC's Fernan Jayvier got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Bernabe Abancens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Garaona skillfully saved the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Algarrobitos fully deserved thier win.
