They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Candido Gasteiz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sumampa AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Evelio Gasteiz hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Polledo's Ricardo Giraldo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Ricardo Giraldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Luisito Orlondo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Cerilo in the 58th minute of play forced Sumampa AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sumampa AFC's Evelio Gasteiz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Polledo fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Polledo's Ricardo Giraldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Sumampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Cerilo came free, but Luisito Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Orlondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Giraldo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Cerilo got free with Luisito Orlondo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Polledo's Serafino Franco to a score. 1-5 in the 79th minute. Sumampa AFC's Luisito Orlondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sumampa AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Cerilo got free with Luisito Orlondo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Gasteiz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Polledo booed when Sumampa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumampa AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Orlondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Polledo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
