Sumampa AFC's Luisito Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Tancredo in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Eusebio Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Tancredo got free with Luisito Orlondo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sumampa AFC's Luisito Orlondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sumampa AFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Gasteiz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Udalaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sumampa AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Severiano Gonzalez hit a great ball. Maximiliano Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Modesto Eron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisito Orlondo. The goal made the score 2-0. 2-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Candido Gasteiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Modesto Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, one of Sumampa AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patricio Bonadona shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 46th minute, Orlando Tancredo made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Orlondo. Sumampa AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Gasteiz to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Modesto Eron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Orlondo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Orlando Tancredo scored 4-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Orlondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Gasteiz in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Modesto Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Gasteiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Udalaitz made a huge save. When Orlando Tancredo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palantelén AFC's protests and gave Orlando Tancredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Orlando Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Eron in the 73rd minute of the match. Eusebio Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Maximiliano Udalaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Gasteiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Udalaitz made a huge save. Candido Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Udalaitz having to interfere. Luisito Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Tancredo in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Palantelén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Erasto to maneuver through the defense. Roque Suarez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Roman Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sumampa AFC booed when Palantelén AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Palantelén AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
