Spectators: 5807 (Terracing: 5307, Seating: 500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ermegildo Gonza got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute, Tacuaruzú's Manuel Rosario seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Rosario the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tacuaruzú protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Rosario had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Psa2 a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugenio Cordairo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tacuaruzú's Eric Larsfelt. 0-1. Eric Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Cilio in the 19th minute of play. Basilio Urti made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Isaac Telmo sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Ermegildo Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Iaki struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Basilio Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuaruzú. Basilio Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Gonza in the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Ermegildo Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Ermegildo Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Lekubegi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Psa2's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 64 minutes into the match, Psa2's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Telmo came free, but Basilio Urti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Gonza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Urti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Tacuaruzú were awarded a corner. Santiago Sotil went to the cornerflag to take it. Ermegildo Gonza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ermegildo Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuaruzú's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Gonza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Urti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Cilio managed to, on his own, get straight through Tacuaruzú's defense and in the 84th minute placed the ball to the left of Eric Larsfelt. 1-2. 90 minutes into the match, Tacuaruzú's Isaac Telmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Urti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basilio Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Gonza in the 91st minute of the match. Ermegildo Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Basilio Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Psa2 played a much better game than Tacuaruzú and deserved their victory. The Tacuaruzú players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
