But to his dismay, Fred Muggerud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 16th minute, Fred Muggerud reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Playo. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Charro in the 19th minute of play forced Santa Rita FC's goalkeeper Isaac Newton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Muggerud in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Playo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yacanto's Fernando Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Muggerud in the 25th minute of play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Fred Muggerud sped through Yacanto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Playo. Isaac Newton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Muggerud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Playo having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Lucas Gentza made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Playo. Yacanto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Fernando Playo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ariel Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Gustavo Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Newton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Muggerud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Playo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Sustrai during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Eulalio Sustrai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Muggerud, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fernando Playo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Fernando Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Muggerud in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute Fred Muggerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fernando Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Rita FC. Fernando Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Muggerud, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Santa Rita FC got a corner. Yacanto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimiro Rufio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Freddy Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacanto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Muggerud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Cornelio Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Rita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Frederik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Fred Muggerud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yacanto's Fernando Playo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Playo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Muggerud went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score.
