The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Pueblo helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Dolcet, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgardo Itzaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Txindoki having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, THE RIGHT STUFF's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Marin came free, but Christian Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Itzaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Txindoki having to interfere. If Ramiro Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Ramiro Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Ramiro Ler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mechongué FC's Danilo Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Ramiro Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE RIGHT STUFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ramiro Ler made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Mechongué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Elia to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Ler in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Txindoki saved Mechongué FC from getting behind. Danilo Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Itzaina's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. THE RIGHT STUFF's Enrique Nardo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Genaro Marin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mechongué FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Marin couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
