Teobaldo Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Marcial Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Acassuso's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Patxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Pietro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Patxi having to make a save. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Leonel Chayo with Bernardo Eneko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Paraná Rowing Club's Rene Patxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Santos in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Marcial Solustiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixto Romero. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 29th minute, Paraná Rowing Club's Fábio Luciano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Sixto Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Costante in the 32nd minute of play. Rene Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Pietro in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Acassuso's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Enaut came free, but Sixto Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Amador Estebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Acassuso's Nereo Ramirez got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sixto Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Luciano in the 44th minute of play. Sixto Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Luciano went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Amador Estebe made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Amador Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcial Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Costante took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Romero. Sixto Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 70 minutes into the game, Amador Estebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Sixto Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Fábio Luciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sixto Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraná Rowing Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
