Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orlando Petrigai took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elpidio Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Cloyo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in pichichi's zone, Elpidio Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Cloyo came out of the goal and Elpidio Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Arnoldo Cloyo was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Leonardo Pere capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Pere really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Orlando Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Edelmiro Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantiales AFC and the pichichi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Manantiales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Abilio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Elpidio Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantiales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Nuxila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Cloyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manantiales AFC's Elpidio Nuxila got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Orlando Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Manantiales AFC's Elpidio Nuxila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Cloyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Elpidio Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Nuxila to make the kick off. Pedro Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Aguirre in the 60th minute. Manantiales AFC's Claudio Atarratze pulled a muscle in his leg after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dario Poncio fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored pichichi's protests and gave Dario Poncio a yellow card for diving instead. Manantiales AFC's Arturo Viator was substituted for Claudio Atarratze. A collision led to pichichi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dario Poncio hit a great ball. Elpidio Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Nuxila in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Cloyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Edelmiro Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manantiales AFC's Marcelo Noe was substituted for Marcos Dalmau. In the 79th match minute, Manantiales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Viator charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Viator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of pichichi booed when Manantiales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manantiales AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
