With his leg Gaston Claude managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Rosario AFC's Federico Montrel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the game, Mario Erramun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locos x Bielsa the free kick. After 35 played minutes Rosario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Erramun. After 41 played minutes Locos x Bielsa got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Osmundo. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Gaston Claude successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half Locos x Bielsa were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Montrel to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Claude stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Montrel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Rosario AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Mingo came free, but Damaso Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Mingo's late challenge caught a Rosario AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Mingo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosario AFC booed when Locos x Bielsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Rosario AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Eyague to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Rosario AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Mingo came free, but Damaso Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
