Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eliseo Cerilo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Haroldo Segio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Pere went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Edgardo Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Saverio Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Ardiles's Edgardo Goren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Nuno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 19 minutes, Edgardo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardiles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Dolores got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Gilen. After having played for 28 minutes, Edgardo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardiles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Segio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Eliseo Cerilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Nuno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Cerilo ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Ardiles's Edgardo Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Nuno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Nuno having to interfere. A collision led to Dolores getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carmelo Gilen hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dolores's zone, Eliseo Cerilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Nuno came out of the goal and Eliseo Cerilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Saverio Nuno managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Ardiles's Edgardo Goren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Alonzo Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Eliseo Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolores's Saverio Nuno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th match minute, Dolores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Gilen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Goren in the 56th minute of play forced Dolores's goalkeeper Saverio Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Dolores's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Cerilo came free, but Saverio Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dolores's Saverio Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Cerilo in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Eliseo Cerilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Nuno. Dolores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Cerilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Edgardo Goren came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ardiles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Goren couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Edgardo Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Nuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Nuno having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Nuno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Cerilo in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Eliseo Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardiles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Cerilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ardiles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
