After having played for 12 minutes, Ignacio Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Deppor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Oliver Ackers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Tello. DONBOSCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Ackers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Omar Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Ackers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ignacio Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oliver Ackers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Ereinotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jimeno Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, El Deppor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Mattin to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, El Deppor's goalkeeper Jimeno Ignatius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Abeita. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Oliver Ackers made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DONBOSCO booed when El Deppor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Deppor's goalkeeper Jimeno Ignatius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignacio Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Omar Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oliver Ackers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes DONBOSCO got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Nofre. DONBOSCO's Omar Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Ackers in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Oliver Ackers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Tello, 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Oliver Ackers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ignacio Luke struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Omar Tello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Deppor. After a defensive mix-up in DONBOSCO's zone, Igor Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Tello came out of the goal and Igor Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes DONBOSCO got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Mon. The supporters of El Deppor booed when DONBOSCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nuxila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Tello having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Oliver Ackers managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Deppor's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Ackers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Tello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over El Deppor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DONBOSCO throughout the match.
