The supporters of Junín FC booed when Jakalakas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Faro scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Matro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardino Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Faro in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Junín FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Bastian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gualterio Intxixu put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isaias Galeno. Junín FC's Remigio Romelio suffered a concussion in the 55th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 55 minutes into the game, Paolo Joseph was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jakalakas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junín FC the free kick.
