The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Culapaligüe's goalkeeper Jacobo Oliveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gudesteo in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Gaboto F.C got a corner. Culapaligüe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartolo Ioritz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd match minute, Gaboto F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joaquin Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Narciso Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Marz in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Szabolcs Fenyvessy made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Oliveiro. Culapaligüe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Szabolcs Fenyvessy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaboto F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Fenyvessy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Oliveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szabolcs Fenyvessy, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Nastasio to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaboto F.C's Clodoveo Harriet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Oliveiro. That made the score 0-2 after 70 minutes of play. Jacobo Oliveiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benito Gudesteo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. The supporters of Culapaligüe booed when Gaboto F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Adrian Ler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Oliveiro.
