Fulgencio Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joaquin Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szabolcs Fenyvessy in the 19th minute of play. Teodosio Cordarryl took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Raphael. Joaquin Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Adrian Ler came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Gaboto F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Ler couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Cayetano Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaboto F.C's Joaquin Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Cordarryl in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Gaboto F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Szabolcs Fenyvessy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Izotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Florentino Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Harriet made a kick off. Cayetano Rami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Fulgencio Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dennehy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Charro put in a rough tackle. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dennehy! In the 68th minute Szabolcs Fenyvessy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dennehy's zone, Clodoveo Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Izotz came out of the goal and Clodoveo Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szabolcs Fenyvessy's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Gaboto F.C's Szabolcs Fenyvessy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Izotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 82nd minute, Cayetano Rami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Gaboto F.C defense, Fulgencio Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Raphael. The Gaboto F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Raphael should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Rodriguez in the 90th minute of the match. Joaquin Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Rodriguez in the 99th minute of the match. Although Dennehy had been in control for most of the match, Gaboto F.C still came away with the win.
