Aaron Chepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Manantiales's Victorino Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelino Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Punco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Dei to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Amor having to interfere. Leon Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aaron Chepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Arnulfo Larra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Larra to make the kick off. Victorino Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Amor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Sotero went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Manantiales's Victorino Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Larpe's late challenge caught a Punco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Larpe helped the player get up and apologised. If Leon Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Leon Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Berdoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Punco booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Chepe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Berdoi went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th match minute, Punco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Manantiales got a corner. Punco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Rudolfo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 94th minute of the game, Victorino Sotero landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 94 minutes into the game, one of Punco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
