When Angel Chuse fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plottier FC's protests and gave Angel Chuse a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Medanito FC booed when Plottier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Tajo in the 17th minute of play forced Plottier FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Plottier FC's zone, Faustino Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Stephen came out of the goal and Faustino Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Angel Chuse made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Itzaina hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Medanito FC's Teobaldo Stephen threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Faustino Tajo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 64 minutes into the match, Plottier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Tajo came free, but Teobaldo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Medanito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Chuse came free, but Edgard Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Medanito FC's Santos Madaleno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teobaldo Stephen. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Medanito FC! The referee gave Plottier FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Urbano Petri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Medanito FC's Edgard Anaya. 2-2.
