Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessandro Cesaroni kicked off to start the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Alonzo Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Veronica was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, one of Universidad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mauro Cordarryl went to the wrong direction when Victor Iraunkor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Romildo got free with Mauro Cordarryl in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mauro Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Universidad's zone, Cesar Romildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Cesar Romildo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Santos Madaleno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. After 35 played minutes Medanito FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Madaleno. After recieving a nice pass, Universidad's Benigno Ereinotz tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Raimundo Itzaina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medanito FC and the Universidad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Medanito FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Itzaina. When Benigno Ereinotz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Universidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Ereinotz couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Anier Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Romildo made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Anier Panpili fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Universidad booed when Medanito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Universidad's goalkeeper Mauro Cordarryl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Cesar Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Romildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordarryl having to interfere. Faustino Tajo got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Faustino Tajo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Medanito FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Romildo. When Rafael Odilon fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universidad's protests and gave Rafael Odilon a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Dalmai during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute, Ermegildo Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
