In the 12th minute, Jimeno Ihintza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leon Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Piquillín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Azevedo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Magdaleno in the 19th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Lamadrid's goalkeeper Modesto Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Azevedo in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Eusebio Oskarbi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Lamadrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Magdaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Edgardo Larra came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Deportivo Lamadrid fans jumped to their feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Pacifico made a kick off. Piquillín's Teodoro Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Larra in the 53rd minute of play. Ildefonso Rosalio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Rosalio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Ildefonso Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Leon Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Patxi. Club Deportivo Lamadrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Piquillín's Jimeno Ihintza in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Piquillín fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Piquillín's Leon Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuel Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Modesto Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Lamadrid's goalkeeper Modesto Patxi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jimeno Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
