After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Kenneth Emerson managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER de Cordoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Emerson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Frichoso hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes INTER de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Kilarski. 22 minutes into the match, INTER de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Ihintza came free, but Andres Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Emerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of INTER de Cordoba booed when Piquillín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth Emerson made a kick off. Antonio Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Piquillín's Teodoro Mannuel got control of the ball when Kenneth Emerson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Piquillín booed when INTER de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Chazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Emerson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Damazy Kilarski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on INTER de Cordoba's corner Ezequiel Foro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Mannuel quite easily take care of the ball. Kenneth Emerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kenneth Emerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimeno Ihintza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Gilen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. INTER de Cordoba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
