Rubenmas2001's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humboldt the free kick. A collision led to Rubenmas2001 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. With a little luck, Rubenmas2001's Aldo Urbasa got control of the ball when Herman Henigman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Mikelar might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Urbasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Mikelar ran back to his position shaking his head. Saverio Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco James, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Alejo Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Rubenmas2001's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Mikelar came free, but Aldo Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Mikelar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Aldo Urbasa made a huge save. Rubenmas2001's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Alejo Arotza scored to the left of an out of position Aldo Urbasa, making the score, 2-1. Aldo Urbasa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Humboldt's Herman Henigman. But to his dismay, Herman Henigman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Arotza to strike the kick off in the second half. Aldo Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Arotza in the 53rd minute of the match. Cosme Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aldo Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Alejo Arotza made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Urbasa. Rubenmas2001's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Marco James kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Humboldt booed when Rubenmas2001 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Humboldt's Cosme Mikelar made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejo Arotza succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Aldo Urbasa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Humboldt's Cosme Mikelar. But to his dismay, Cosme Mikelar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Henigman in the 86th minute of play forced Rubenmas2001's goalkeeper Aldo Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Rubenmas2001 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. Humboldt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
