Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Cordarrell started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, atlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Jaunzuria to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Paulino Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madafuke's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Cordarrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Enaut in the 5th minute of play forced atlas's goalkeeper Prudencio Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Madafuke got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Nafarroa. 8 minutes into the match, atlas's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Enaut came free, but Prudencio Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Feliberto Bartoli made a huge save. Prudencio Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Enaut in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Madafuke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Benet to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Paulino Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Prudencio Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of atlas booed when Madafuke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Feliberto Bartoli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 34 minutes into the match, atlas's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Enaut came free, but Prudencio Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Enaut in the 41st minute of play. Desiderio Nel charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Nel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Siro Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Iratxo made a kick off. Feliberto Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Artemio Ramond, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Prudencio Erauso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Madafuke's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Iratxo came free, but Feliberto Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Marcos Iratxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Bartoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Iratxo in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind atlas's goalkeeper Prudencio Erauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Madafuke's Prudencio Erauso threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulino Cordarrell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 played minutes atlas got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Abilio. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Paulino Cordarrell took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Prudencio Erauso to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the match, atlas's Marcos Iratxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Bartoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Erubiel Enaut kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Erauso. That made the score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. Prudencio Erauso made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Erubiel Enaut sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in atlas's zone, Paulino Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Erauso came out of the goal and Paulino Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Madafuke could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than atlas throughout the match.
