Spectators: 6412 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Córdoba FC's Mauricio Poz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Córdoba FC's goalkeeper Nunez Martino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Santiago Vachon fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Córdoba FC's protests and gave Santiago Vachon a yellow card for diving instead. Santiago Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Camiñaga's Orlando Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nunez Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Felipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Martino having to interfere. When Dalmacio Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Camiñaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Silvino couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Joey having to interfere. If Orlando Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Baltasar Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Joey acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nemesio Theodore. 58 minutes into the game, Tomas Valiente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arsenio Joey. Tomas Valiente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Córdoba FC defense, Baltasar Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Martino. The Córdoba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Martino should have stopped the shot. Córdoba FC's Nunez Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Nel in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Orlando Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Orlando Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Martino was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Nunez Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Soter in the 73rd minute of the match. Orlando Nel struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nunez Martino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camiñaga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Dino during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Federico Dino hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Córdoba FC's goalkeeper Nunez Martino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nunez Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Nel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Martino having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Baltasar Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camiñaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Martino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
