El Fulgor were furious when Jonatan Maule was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Fulgor! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Los Millo. Carlos Dino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filomeno Su. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jonas Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Millo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Bermudez scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Su, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Fulgor! If Guaberto Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, El Fulgor's Primitivo Pio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Filomeno Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Bermudez in the 33rd minute of play. Celedonio Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Filomeno Su tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Fulgor's zone, Jan Koprowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Su came out of the goal and Jan Koprowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The supporters of El Fulgor booed when Los Millo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Dino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filomeno Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Bizi in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Bermudez got free with Filomeno Su in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes in the game, Celedonio Bizi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filomeno Su having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Jonas Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Pio in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Los Millo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Bero to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Los Millo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Bero to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He walked away shaking his head. Guaberto Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jan Koprowski fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Millo's protests and gave Jan Koprowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Los Millo got a freekick which was hit by Jan Koprowski.
