In the 7th minute, Jacinto Santikurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Brais's late challenge caught a VillarinoFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Brais helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elertondo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The referee gave VillarinoFC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apolo Joanes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elertondo's Edgard Goren. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, VillarinoFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Txindoki came free, but Higinio Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Txindoki in the 12th minute of play forced VillarinoFC's goalkeeper Higinio Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Marciano Gora fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgard Goren, passed just outside the right post. Higinio Inge came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Elertondo's Tobias Gaur. But to his dismay, Tobias Gaur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Tobias Gaur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Higinio Inge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Marciano Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. VillarinoFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, VillarinoFC's Marciano Gora dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After having played for 36 minutes, Marciano Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VillarinoFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Elertondo booed when VillarinoFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Osvaldo Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Santikurtz made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marciano Gora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Elertondo's Jacinto Santikurtz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Fulgencio Txindoki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Higinio Inge made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, VillarinoFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Inge made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fulgencio Txindoki sent off a good shot on target. VillarinoFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tobias Gaur 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. VillarinoFC's Higinio Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Aballe in the 67th minute of play. Higinio Inge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Santikurtz in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Aballe got free with Higinio Inge in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Txindokis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Higinio Inge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, VillarinoFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Gaur came free, but Higinio Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When VillarinoFC's Marciano Gora in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elertondo's goalie prevented a goal. Osvaldo Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Marciano Gora notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Elertondo's Edgard Goren. Edgard Goren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Gora in the 91st minute of the match. Santo Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edgard Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marciano Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The VillarinoFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Elertondo's performance. The match ended with a win for Elertondo.
