Victorino Gagriel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Alf Jonsson put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute, one of Candelaria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Candelaria. Maximino Lonzo went to the wrong direction when Benjamin Bras was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Victorino Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Maximino Lonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Prudencio Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustamante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Vistruario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Bustamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Quintun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Eate in the 94th minute of play forced Bustamante FC's goalkeeper Nestor Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Candelaria's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Candelaria may have spent more time on the ball, but Bustamante FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
