Confederación Suiza's Tadeo Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Confederación Suiza's Niceto Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Mattsson in the 67th minute of play. Candelaria's Edmund Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Mattsson in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Herrera saved Confederación Suiza from getting behind. After 93 minutes of play, Candelaria's Edmund Mattsson made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Candelaria fully deserved thier win.
