Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Parravicini's Justo Zapata quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eriberto Asteri, made in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Emiliano Larpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parravicini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Animas the free kick. A collision led to Parravicini getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Emiliano Larpe hit a great ball. Cirilo Dantae took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Elia. Amador Elia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Parravicini's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Placido Astigar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfredão Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Amador Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Parravicini booed when Animas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Zapata might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Elia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Zapata ran back to his position shaking his head. Teo Astigar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Amador Elia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teo Astigar. The long shot by Teo Astigar in the 67th minute really tested Amador Elia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Fortun in the 73rd minute of play forced Animas's goalkeeper Amador Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Sergio Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Animas's Amador Elia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Animas from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Parravicini's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Herena came free, but Rodolfo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lisandro Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute of the match Alberto Pacheco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Elia skillfully saved the ball. Amador Elia stood somewhat misplaced when Sergio Fortun came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 90 minute. Animas made a substitution. Eduardo Txaran replaced Cesar Sugar.
