After a defensive mix-up in Merlo FC's zone, Bonifacio Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Meder came out of the goal and Bonifacio Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Aires in the 27th minute of play forced Merlo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santana Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Garin in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Platon in the 32nd minute of play forced Mugre mogar's goalkeeper Santana Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Jordy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Santana Villalcazar made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Aires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Chago in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Epifanio Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bonifacio Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Meder having to interfere. Bonifacio Aires might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Meder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Aires ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzalo Meder made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bonifacio Aires sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Faustino Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Elixio during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merlo FC's Severiano Elixio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Santana Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Mugre mogar booed when Merlo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gonzalo Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
