Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eulalio Haritzeder kicked off to start the match. Merlo FC's Gonzalo Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Mattin in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Paulino Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alto Valle Futbol's Flavio Lico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merlo FC. Alto Valle Futbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Lico in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Flavio Lico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonzalo Meder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Severiano Elixio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 38th minute, Mauricio Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Jakobe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alto Valle Futbol's zone, Severiano Elixio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Jakobe came out of the goal and Severiano Elixio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Severiano Elixio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Merlo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Elixio couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Platon was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Merlo FC's zone, Dionisio Mattin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Meder came out of the goal and Dionisio Mattin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Merlo FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Librado. Severiano Elixio struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Octavio Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merlo FC. Octavio Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Platon in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Elixio in the 74th minute of play forced Alto Valle Futbol's goalkeeper Octavio Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Mattin's late challenge caught a Merlo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Mattin helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Alto Valle Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Mattin. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Severiano Elixio sped through Alto Valle Futbol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octavio Jakobe. The supporters of Alto Valle Futbol booed when Merlo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Severiano Elixio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Jakobe was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alto Valle Futbol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merlo FC.
