But to his dismay, Evaristo Oidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Eugenio George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Eli in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Evaristo Oidor notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Islas AFC's Eugenio George. Eugenio George was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Islas AFC booed when Los pibes de Roman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Islas AFC defense, Evaristo Oidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio George. The Islas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio George should have stopped the shot. Eugenio George made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The Islas AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los pibes de Roman were winning 0-8.

Los pibes de Roman made a substitution. Jeremias Mannuel replaced Amancio Bartuelo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Manuel Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Mannuel took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio George. Emilio Alvarez helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Islas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Alvarez. Los pibes de Roman played a much better game than Islas AFC and deserved their victory. The Islas AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
