Wilfredo Quico did an outstanding performance 88 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Alfred Emander in the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Ado in the 97th minute of play forced La cumbre FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Malargüe FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
