When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Godofredo Baraquiel sped through Fabianton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Peli. 37 minutes into the match, Godofredo Baraquiel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Peli, 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Luisito Jenaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Peli, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Abecia to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Bihar in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Somisa's goalkeeper Artemio Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Godofredo Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Peli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes Club Somisa got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Poz. Club Somisa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
