The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godofredo Baraquiel took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Baraquiel. Gavino Baraquiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gavino Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Marciano Frasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gavino Baraquiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Agustin Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Somisa's Fausto Gentza got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gavino Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Colon got free with Artemio Michael in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, ƒractu®a De Chicharra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Isauro to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Jenaro scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Baraquiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godofredo Baraquiel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Club Somisa got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Bermudez. 43 minutes into the match, Luisito Jenaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Baraquiel. ƒractu®a De Chicharra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Jenaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Godofredo Baraquiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Baraquiel having to make a save. After the first half Club Somisa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gavino Baraquiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Baraquiel in the 55th minute. Artemio Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gavino Baraquiel was a little too slow when Fausto Gentza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-5. ƒractu®a De Chicharra's Gavino Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Jenaro in the 66th minute of play. Gavino Baraquiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Baraquiel in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Somisa's Godofredo Baraquiel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavino Baraquiel. That made the score 1-6 after 70 minutes of play. Gavino Baraquiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Eguerdi in the 74th minute. Fausto Gentza was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Club Somisa's Fausto Gentza got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gildo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Jenaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gildo Seco struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Artemio Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ƒractu®a De Chicharra. 86 minutes into the match, ƒractu®a De Chicharra's goalkeeper Gavino Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Poz. Gavino Baraquiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The ƒractu®a De Chicharra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Somisa's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Somisa.
