Jeremias Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th match minute, RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Gomesano was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Feliberto Sendoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 68th minute, Silverio Harkaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIVER PLATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Santo Satordi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's Guillermo Ereinotz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Oscar Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, RIVER PLATE's Silverio Harkaitz made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Gomesano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Manny in the 96th minute of play. RIVER PLATE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
