Martin Urtsua scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentinos Kerkopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentinos Kerkopoulos having to interfere. If Rafael Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Riveros's Geronimo Rico got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Eskuin in the 32nd minute of play forced Riveros's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Rafael Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Filomeno Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Quirce in the 40th minute of play forced Riveros's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Oinaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Quirce struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Filomeno Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Impacto Marplatense. After 79 minutes, Luisito Goi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riveros and the C.A. Impacto Marplatense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Riveros got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Goi. In the 80th minute of the match Gonzalo Eskuin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Tartalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to C.A. Impacto Marplatense getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gonzalo Eskuin hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Domingos Sarracino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Riveros's Luisito Goi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Filomeno Tartalo made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A. Impacto Marplatense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
