When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Jerold in the 52nd minute of play forced Metán's goalkeeper Alvaro Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Jerold in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Chuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pirquitas's Godfredo Orlandus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edgardo Sabin, made in the 58th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Edgardo Sabin in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pirquitas's Godfredo Orlandus. In the 64thth minute of the game Amancio Jerold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metán's Alvaro Chuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Abel Maldonado. 70 minutes into the match, Pirquitas's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Maldonado came free, but Bernardino Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bernardino Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the game Vinicio Chaime made a throw-in which Anibal Bartoleme played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Bernardino Emesto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the match, Pirquitas's goalkeeper Bernardino Emesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Carvalho. In the 92nd minute Américo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
